Roberto's DIFC, an elegant Italian fine-dining establishment, was delivered by A&T Group Interiors into a sophisticated tribute to 1950s-60s Milanese design. The complete interior fit-out of the 7,900-square-foot restaurant and lounge captures mid-century Italian style and culture.
Drawing from Milan's 1950s and 60s - an era defined by exceptional craftsmanship, clean lines, and carefully chosen materials - A&T created spaces that feel both classic and striking.
The restaurant features two connected areas: the main dining room and Scala Bar & Lounge, each with its own character while forming one complete experience.
The 168-seat dining room celebrates traditional Italian design through clean lines and premium materials. Carved stone, warm wood, and custom furniture create a timeless yet fresh atmosphere. Thoughtful details - from wood grain direction to lighting placement - enhance the space, which transitions seamlessly from lunch to dinner. Open-air terraces overlook Dubai's skyline, honoring Roberto's heritage while delivering modern comfort.
Scala Bar & Lounge takes a bolder approach, layering color, texture, and lighting to evoke a classic Milan cocktail bar. Sculptural forms, curved seating, and striking architectural features fill the space. Plush velvet in rich tones and graphic floor patterns create warmth and visual movement.
Red and amber-tinted glass adds warmth that shifts from day to evening. Aurora and travertine marble bring natural patterns and depth. Aged brass fixtures suggest European craftsmanship, while velvet upholstery throughout adds luxury and comfort to Roberto’s interiors.
Every material tells the story of Italian design, creating layers of warmth and visual richness. The result is refined yet playful - classic yet full of evening energy that captures elegant Italian nightlife.
