Saikindō is an immersive Hi-Fi cocktail bar at Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi, Al Maryah Island, delivered by A&T Group Interiors as a bespoke hospitality venue introducing a new concept to the region. More than a destination bar, Saikindo is a dialogue between sound, space, and spirit, inspired by Japan’s legendary listening bars and their culture of refinement and craftsmanship.
Spanning 4,800 sq. ft., this hospitality space is rooted in the principles of the Japanese Metabolism movement, balanced with the warmth and precision of mid-century craftsmanship. A&T delivered this dynamic space through a rich material palette of custom wooden paneling, bespoke acoustic detailing, embroidered wallpaper, and tailored furnishings.
The interior identity is defined by a fusion of classic spy-era sophistication and the expressive energy of Japan’s Bōsōzoku biker culture, articulated through materials, detailing, and curated display elements to create a cinematic, contemporary atmosphere.
The Atelier presents Bōsōzoku‑inspired fashion and artisan works by Japanese craftsmen, available exclusively at Saikindō in the UAE and rarely found outside Japan.
Sound sits at the core of the experience. Integrated Hi-Fi systems and engineered acoustic solutions support vinyl-led programming, guest DJs, and intimate tastings, shaping a multi-sensory environment where sound and hospitality intersect.
Complementing the bar is a yakitori and robata dining element inspired by traditional izakayas, bringing food, drink, and music together through craft and technique.
Inspired by Omotenashi, the Japanese art of wholehearted hospitality, A&T expressed this vision through refined details, purposeful planning, and careful execution.
