A&T Group Interiors has delivered the full renovation of Roberto's DIFC, turning the well-known Italian fine-dining restaurant into a beautiful tribute to 1950s and 60s Milan. The project completely transforms the 7,900-square-foot restaurant and lounge, bringing Italian design and culture to life in Dubai's Gate Village.
The new look is inspired by Milan in the 1950s and 60s, a time when Italian designers focused on quality craftsmanship, clean shapes, and beautiful materials. A&T Group Interiors brought this classic style into today's world, creating spaces that are both elegant and eye-catching.

The restaurant is divided into two different but connected areas: the main dining room and Scala Bar & Lounge. Each space has its own unique character and design story. Inside the restaurant, Scala Bar & Lounge takes a bolder approach to Italian design.

Beautiful textures and thoughtful details fill the 168-seat restaurant, which works perfectly from lunch through dinner. Outdoor terraces look out over Dubai's skyline, giving diners a special experience that respects Roberto's history while offering modern comfort and style.

Artistic shapes, soft velvet fabrics, and patterned floors combine to create a space that's fun yet sophisticated, old-fashioned in style but not outdated, and full of evening atmosphere and energy. The lounge captures the feeling of Italian nightlife: elegant, creative, and impossible to resist.
Throughout both spaces, A&T chose materials that represent luxury from mid-century Italy. Red and amber-colored glass, aurora and travertine marble, aged brass fixtures, and soft velvet furniture add warmth, richness, and visual interest to every corner. Each material was carefully selected to support the main design idea: honoring Italian craftsmanship and bringing it to modern Dubai in a meaningful way.
